ROUTE
All routes head out along the R304 in the direction of Stellenbosch before turning left onto the Kromme Rhee Road and heading onto the R44. The 50km route proceeds straight over the Klapmuts 4-way stop before turning left onto the R312 and making its way back to the finish along the R304.  The 72km and 105km routes continue onto the R44 and head up over the new Helshoogte Pass before heading back via the outskirts of Stellenbosch and Paarl at the Boschendal T-junction, Suid-Agter Paarl and Fairview Wine Estate. The 72km returns to the finish via the R312, while the 105km continues along the Voor Paardeberg Road before returning to the finish via the R302.

The 50km is ideal for family members and novice riders, while the two longer routes provide some undulating rollers with the one climb (Helshoogte) giving those fitter riders the chance to test their climbing skills.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE
From Cape Town, take the N1 to Paarl. Take the Muldersvlei/Stellenbosch turn-off (R304). At the end of the off-ramp, turn right onto the R304 and cross the N1 bridge. You’ll find the Klein Joostenberg Market on your left. Ample parking is available on the wide road verge outside the market. GPS Coordinates: S 33°49.30 ; E 18°47.37.
