See the PPA website home page for more info, and contact Samantha at the PPA Office on (021) 689-8420 or email marketing@pedalpower.org.za soonest to book your spot as places are limited.
PPA WEBSITE FORUMS
Our web forums are now live – do visit them to post event feedback (check out the report of this past weekend’s Piket-Bo-Berg MTB!), get ride buddies, and just to chat to fellow cyclists. You need to be a registered MyPPA user and be logged in to view the forums.
NEW MTB AND ROAD SEEDED FUNRIDE NUMBERS
Don’t forget to bring and wear your new brown MTB seeded number to the De Grendel MTB on Sunday – you cannot use your blue ‘road’ seeded number at MTB events.
If you did not do a MTB event last year that used PPA numbers, you would not automatically have received a MTB seeded number. If this was the case, please contact the PPA office by close of business on Thursday this week to organise that a MTB number is allocated to you and sent to the event for you to collect, or you can collect one from the Office during the week.

All routes offer breathtaking views of Table Bay, Table Mountain and False Bay. Be prepared for a few steep climbs and some bumpy, technical downhills!
The routes start on a flat section and then split, with the two longer routes climbing halfway up Tygerberg Hill. The 30 km route then returns through the vineyards to the finish.
The 55 km continues along the contour road onto the neighbouring farms, through the Tygerberg Nature Reserve and returns to De Grendel via Magick Forest. Only fit, experienced riders should attempt the 55 km.
The flat 10 km route is aimed at the novice rider and youngsters and includes a short stretch of tar road. Children u/10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
DIRECTIONS TO VENUE
From the N1, take the Malmesbury turn-off onto the N7. Continue towards Exit 17 and turn right onto the M14/Plattekloof Road. Follow Plattekloof Road until you reach the farm’s main entrance on your right hand side.
Alternatively, follow the M13 past the new Burgundy Estate until you reach the Bothasig traffic circle and turn left. Follow the Plattekloof Road until you reach the main entrance of De Grendel Wine Estate on your left.
