For the first 5km, the routes follow scenic farm roads and jeep tracks through olive orchards and vineyards. Then the 10 km route turns onto the Nonna/De Wet road and returns through vineyards to the venue. The 30 km route includes rocky single and jeep tracks over typical Karoo hills and the lower Langeberg mountain’s until it reaches a secondary gravel road, after which it joins the 10 km route.
The 60 km route is aimed at experienced cyclists and includes fairly technical sections. After leaving the 30 km route, the 60 km route heads east to Vink River on a fast gravel section before turning to the mountains. A fast downhill to the railway track follows, after which the route climbs back to the top of the Mowers hills (inside a game camp) and returns to the Nuy Valley on a mixture of jeep tracks and farm roads through vineyards and olive orchards.
