25 Nov 2011 Women’s MTB rides: Tuesdays in Tokai
Female cyclists who are looking to become more confident mountain bikers and looking for riding partners in the Tokai plantation, are invited to join Cyclelab on Tuesday mornings for MTB outrides. The rides cater for both novice and more advanced riders.
Any cyclist is welcome to join the Tuesday group – you don’t have to be a Cyclelab club member.
Cycle Lab will provide expert cyclists to accompany the groups. The rides offer a combination of planned and structured technical/skills lessons as well as rides to improve fitness levels.
There is no cost involved, other than your Tokai permit.
Meet at the Tokai parking lot at the Arboretum at 07h50, to depart at 08h00, every Tuesday. Please make sure you have bought your Tokai day permit beforehand, or bring your MyActivity (Wildcard) along.
Make sure you have your helmet with you (no helmet, no ride), and enough water for the ride. Cape Town weather being as fickle as it is, bring along a wind breaker – and don’t forget the sunblock!
