Bike4all in partnership with Khaltsha Cycles on the “Heroes on Bikes Campaign”, handed over bikes to the Langa and Samora Community Action Networks (CANS) which operate soup kitchens that each feed up to 250 people a day. The CANs will be using the bikes to deliver food to the disabled and aged in the community and will also work with the local clinics to deliver medication in the area.
Samora CAN’s Riders check in daily with the most vulnerable members of the community,using bicycles to deliver food and tablets to people that are homebound because of age or disability.
