27 Jun 2019 Safe Cycling along the Garden Route
In the week leading up to the Knysna Cycle Tour the Stay Wider of the Rider safe cycling team together with our RAF partner erected banners along the N2 as part of our awareness campaign to educate motorists about the importance of passing cyclists at a safe distance of at least one meter or more. The garages also agreed to hand out stickers educating drivers about the law to those filling up their tanks. Surveys were done to establish if the safe cycling campaign is successful and to establish if motorists are ware of the one .
We also arranged a bib handout in George in partnership with the Eden Lions Club. A huge thank you to them.
