The first winner in the PPA Safe Cycling Competition is Aaron Hendrickse, whose name was randomly drawn from all the people who had entered the competition by posting a pic onto the PPA’s Facebook page. Congratulations!

Terms and conditions

• The competition draw will take place each Friday from and including Friday 17^th February 2012 to and including Friday 16^th March 2012, (the Competition Period).
• The competition prizes which will be handed out in random order, are:
  • 2 x “Giant” road bicycles
  • 2x “Giant” off-road bicycles
  • 2x “Giant” folding commuting bicycles
• A competition participant can only win once. If you are one of the winners you will not be eligible to win again within the competition period.
• Prizes are not transferable for different models, makes or sizes and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Only one prize will be given away per week.
• Winners will be drawn from all photographs (of vehicles with PPA safe cycling bumper stickers on them) posted onto the PPA Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pedalpowerassociation before 16 March 2012.
• Each Friday for the duration of the Competition Period the winner will be randomly drawn by the judges, whose decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard. The name of the winner will be posted on the PPA Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pedalpowerassociation and on the PPA website at www.pedalpower.org.za.
• Draws will take place weekly.
• To enter the competition, participants must upload a photograph of vehicles with PPA safe cycling bumper sticker onto the PPA Facebook page which can be found at www.facebook.com/pedalpowerassociation and on the PPA website at www.pedalpower.org.za.

• Each Friday for the duration of the Competition Period the winner will be randomly drawn by the judges, whose decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard. The name of the winner will be posted on the PPA Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pedalpowerassociation and on the PPA website at www.pedalpower.org.za.
• The winner must contact Liz at the Pedal Power Association on or before the following Wednesday by 12h00 on 021 689 8420 or at projects@pedalpower.org.za

• An acknowledgement of receipt must be signed by the prize winner, or legal guardian where applicable, and a copy of his or her ID must be provided.
• Failure to contact the Pedal Power Office within this prescribed five days will allow the prize to go back into the draw and two winners will be drawn the following Friday.
• Winners must collect their bicycles from the Pedal Power Association Office at 9 Hill Park Lane, Mowbray within two weeks of claiming the prize. PPA may, at the time of collection of the prize, request to see the bumper sticker in situ on the winner’s vehicle.  Failure to do so will result in prizes being re-entered into the competition.

• Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by PPA or marketing service providers in respect of the competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members thereof may not enter the competition

• PPA reserves the right to stop the competition at any given time.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Competition only valid in the Republic of South Africa.
• By submitting an entry, participants accept the above terms and conditions.
