Congratulations to everyone who braved the terrible wind on Sunday – we salute you. Some interesting stats: Of the just over 1800 entrants, 1294 (wearing transponders) arrived on the day, with 1260 riders making it to the checkpoint just outside Malmesbury. Of these, 1115 completed the event, with the wind proving to be too much for the remainder. Check out our Facebook page later for some pics of the event.
The three fastest riders on the day were Alex Heward (4:35:06), David Garrett (4:35:11, left) and Moolman Welgemoed (4:35:14, right)
