Limited entries for MTB Challenge available at registration

Due to popular demand, riders wishing to take part in the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Mountain Bike Challenge will have one final opportunity to secure an entry for this year’s event taking place at Boschendal Wine Estate this weekend, 3rd and 4th March.

A limited number of entries for four of the five MTB Challenge race distances will be available at registration. Riders wishing to enter for the 13km, 29km, 32km or 52km routes should make their way to registration, taking place:

–          from 12H00 to 18H00 on Thursday, 1 March in front of  the Canal Walk Auditorium;

–          from 12H00 to 18H00 on Friday, 2 March the Dirtopia Trail Centre at Delvera;

–          from 10H00 to 16H00 on Saturday, 3 March at the Dirtopia Trail Centre.

No late entries are available for the 65km route.

Interested riders should note that the fees for late entries are R100 for the 13km route; R150 for the 29km route; R200 for the 32km and R250 for the 52km route.

Spectators wishing to catch all Sunday’s action and support friends and family are also encouraged to make use of the special spectator spot on neighbouring wine farm Plaisir de Merle. The Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, organisers of the event, are encouraging supporters to park in the demarcated parking area at Boschendal Wine Estate and then make use of the shuttle that will run from Boschendal’s main entrance gate to the spectator area throughout the morning.
