25 Nov Entries for PPA’s All-Female Funride are Closing Soon
Sunday 8 December is a special day on the cycling calendar: It is a day when the focus falls solely on female cyclists, with husbands, boyfriends and partners looking after the kids while the women take to the roads. The PPA’s ‘Heels on Wheels’ funride aims to demystify cycling for the average female cyclist, creating a friendly and doable event where the emphasis is primarily on getting to the finish line – and having heaps of fun along the way. The funride will start at 06h30 at the Simonsvlei Wine Estate near Paarl. Choose from one of three routes: a tough 53 km which includes the climb over Helshoogte; an undulating 38 km or an easy and relatively flat 22 km.
