General & PPA Entry Applications for the 2017 Cape Town Cycle Tour

If you would like to ride this iconic event on Sunday 12 March 2017, please click here to apply. General & PPA Entry Applications will be open from 17 August 2016, after 13h00 until 23 August 2016 at 16h00.

Successful Cape Town Cycle Tour entries will be awarded regardless of whether you apply on the first or the last day of the application period. You must apply, even as a PPA member. You have to be in it to stand a chance to ride it!

APPLICATION TO ENTER IS SIMPLE AND FREE.

This is what you must do:

1. Apply to enter: Click here to apply, free of charge, for your entry, between Wednesday 17 August 2016 after 13h00 and Tuesday 23 August 2016 at 16h00.

2. Entry confirmation: Within 24 hours after the General & PPA Entry Applications have closed (on 23 August),  you will receive an email notifying you of your successful application.

These emails will be sent in batches – please be patient while you wait for your successful entry application email. If, however, you have not received your successful entry application email within 24 hours after the General & PPA Entry Applications have closed, please contact the Cycle Tour Events Office at 087 820 7223 or email info@cycletour.co.za.

3. Paying for your entry: The email notifying you of your successful entry application will have all the details about what to do next. Successful applicants will have until Monday 5 September 2016 at 1pm to make payment, which will secure the entry. Payment not received by this date, will result in that entry being made available to a previously unsuccessful applicant. This offer is not transferable.

Cost: Local (South African) General Entries cost R510 (Non-PPA), while PPA members pay R480 per rider.

Important: Corporate Group entries are no longer available, so those who have made use of these entries in the past, must now follow the General & PPA Entry Application process.
