06 Jun Entries for the Tiletoria Elgin Valley MTB are open!
Entries have opened for what was last year called “the best MTB event on the calendar”. PPA’s Tiletoria Elgin Valley MTB will take place on Sunday 28 August on the Paul Cluver Wine Estate near Grabouw.
If you are fit and experienced enough and have a PPA seeding of MA-MC, the tough 70 km route over Groenlandberg is the route for you (only 200 entries available for this route). The new 45 km route includes sections in Oak Valley. Both the 45 km and 70 km will be seeding events for the 2016 Wines2Whales. The new 30 km route will also take in the best that Paul Cluver Wine Estate can offer (with a section through Oak Valley), while the untimed 15 km is a new route in a ‘figure-of-eight’ format which gives you the option of riding only one, or both of the loops. All routes except the 15 km include some of the best singletrack on offer in the Elgin Valley.
Equal prize money for the top 3 male and female riders in both the 70 km (R3 500, R2 000, R1 000) and 45 km (R1 500, R1 000, R500) routes. Great lucky draw prizes include a R5000 Tiletoria voucher. Great food stalls, music, celebrity MC Deon Bing on the microphone, and more!
Pre-entries only. Entries close on 15 August or as soon as 1000 entries have been received, whichever comes first.
