25 Feb 2025 City of Cape Town Safe Cycling Awareness Ride
Join our Stay Wider of the Rider team on Sunday, 2 March 2025, for a City of Cape Town Safe Cycling Awareness Ride.
The ride is free, and anyone is welcome to join. Meet us at Maidens Cove parking area just off Victoria Road, Camps Bay at 06h00 for a 06h30 start. The route is 37km heading to Chapmans Peak where riders will stop at the Chapmans Peak Coca-Cola Peninsula refreshment station before returning via the same route. There will be free coffee for all riders at Maidens Cove after the ride.

The PPA Stay Wider of the Rider campaign aims to create awareness of how vulnerable cyclists are on the road but also to reinforce cyclist good behaviour in our adherence to the law. We advocate mutual respect on our roads. This will be an awareness ride, not a race, and we will obey the rules of the road.
