21 Jan Third Nashua Grape Escape Attracts Major Local and International Riders

The third Nashua Grape Escape 3-day mountain bike stage race - due to take place in the Boland from 28 February to 2 March - has already attracted the interest of major local and international mountain bike riders. This year the race will come with a new twist: in addition to the 3-day race option, riders – especially those new to MTB stage racing – will also have the opportunity to participate in a 2-day stage race option.

Join us today for the first-ever Thursday Killarney session! As is the case with the  weekly Tuesday training sessions, the riding will take place from 18h00-19h00, with registration from 17h30 in the pits area. R15 PPA members, R30 non-members. Please give way to vehicles exciting the pits area when you get there - there is a corporate function taking place on the track this afternoon.

05 Jan Summer league 2013 entries close on 14 Jan

Entries are open for the 2013 PPA Summer league, which will take place from 19 January to 17 February 2013. For Summer 2013, the existing format of age-category based racing, will continue.

Entries are open for the Tour de PPA, which will take place on 3 February 2013, starting from the Durbanville Racecourse. This event has a challenging new route to give you optimal training for the 2013 Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour. Participants can choose from two routes: 110km or 72km.

We were truly saddened to hear this afternoon that Burry Stander was killed in a road accident while out training in KZN. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.
